737NG autopilot disconnect

Featured Replies

Hi,I've had the 737 for two years now. great product.Recently, I've started flying it with FS2Crew and RCv4.Not sure my if problem is connected with the addons..Anyways, here's the problem;I'll be at cruise level on a three hour flight. I use RC4's 'pause before TOD mode' so I can leave the flight and do other things round my house. When I return to the monitor, many times the autoplot is disconnnected, and the plane is bouncing on the ground or water. The flight is a total loss! Why?!Eytan Ornstein

Well, you should sit in front of the plane in order to see what happens instead of doing other things 'round your house...Seriously, it can have many-many reasons.Robert

I doubt if the RC pause feature will totally work with the PMDG products since some of their controls do not use the standard FS interfaces. RC will not act as a copilot and fly the PMDG products as it does with default aircraft.I don't think anyone has saved an in-progress stage of flight and restored successfully in PMDG aircraft.PMDG did very nicely in working around the limitations of FS so they could implement their advanced panels.
