Now we can fly over the poles (in FSX) will the 747 simulate position updating? I believe GPS updating stops at north of 88.5

I have never heard that, and wonder what your source is.... hard to believe the USAF developed a navigation system that their bombers couldn't use on polar routes.

Everything works with the 744. The only thing we can't checkout is the 'wings level' function that occurs within 10 miles of the actual pole. Other then that, all the polar nav functions are pretty well modeled.Looking forward to a test flight in the FSX version.

PaulPlease see my earlier post on the "End of the World".The limitation is not with the 744, but with FS9, which runs into a BIG problem at 89 deg N and S.If you do not exceed 89N or S you should be OK.Peter
