June 11, 200718 yr I was wonder if there was a way to get rid of this thing that circled in white?See Attached)What I'm trying to do is just have the MCP showing and have the nav displays off to the sides so that I can maximise the exterior vew and as you can see in the image, it looks really cool. I found the image in the panel folder of the PMDG 747 and opened the bitmap in photoshop and cut out the that peice and saved it but it still shows the original instead of the modded image.Any help would be.... helpful.Lee Alexander
June 11, 200718 yr Commercial Member Lee,I don't think so... that's the support column for the main windshield, you'd always see that anyway in real life. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
June 11, 200718 yr Hmmmm.... ok. I guess the only other way to be free of obstructions is to get a triplehead2go and setup 3 monitors 1 being used for all of the instruments and the other monitors for visuals. But then of course I have the annoying seam in the middle making it difficult to do manual landings so if I were to get a triplehead, all 3 monitors would be used for the visuals.Lee Alexander
June 12, 200718 yr Kinda off topic, but what ground scenery is that your using? Ultimate Terrain any chance? I've always been disapointed by the night ground textures, expecially over large cities. Phil Brown
June 12, 200718 yr Yep its Ultimate Terrain USA and its the best friggin enviornment I've ever bought. I was using Ultimate Night Environment 2007 and it was ok but UT USA is so much better. Night flying is actually fun now.
