Do the latest versions of PMDG 747-400 require the V1.1 update?I plan on purchasing the PMDG 747-400 and was wondering if I need to include the update which was first issued in November, 2005.Thanks.Stanner

Yes, the 747-400 is currently up to date. I think you may need to install the sound pack though.

If you apply the 400F upgrade, the sound upgrade is included. I heartily recommend it as it adds a great deal to the other a/c (engine variants/instrumentation and other systems updates) even if the freighter is not your standard cup of tea. Best-Carl F.
