Missing or wrongly referenced .bmp files in panel(s).cfg

Featured Replies

Hi,I am trying to find the culprit for the OOM at LHR we've all been talking about lately. Installed Flightsim Manager and I am horrified how many errors there are in all sorts of aircraft. PMDG B744 come up with just two, and 73x have a couple, too. Which is pretty good compared to some others! :)747-400(F)----------Panel folderpanel.cfg- 747.CDU.bmp reference is wrong, should be 747400.cdu.bmp- 747400_MISCPanel.bmp is missing altogether.I corrected the first one. About the second I am not sure. Have I managed to delete it somehow or is it truly missing? :)737-xxx-------Panel.VC folderpanel.cfgIncorrect path for 737NGFMC .bmp and 737ng_RADIO_BACKGROUND.bmpNow, I am not sure what it means performance wise, but as we know that FS9 keeps on trying to load missing files in some circumstances, I guess it is not a bad idea to correct this. If it is harmless - so much better! :)Regards,Jure

Jure,Do not mess with the panel configuration, the actual bitmaps are contained in the gauges, much of what's in the cfg are placeholders for a reason and something like this program you're using isn't going to understand the method we're using and will flag them as errors.
