Strobe & Nav Lights

Featured Replies

all the external lights seem to be offsett , have a look at the beacon from the frontkav

I had the same problem with the LDS767, but then realized I had changed some lighting (specificaly the halo.bmp for different runway lighting)and by doing so my lights became misaligned on any aircraft that used that bitmap for external lighting. Once I reinstalled the original halo.bmp all was well again. Aircraft with flexing wings usually have the wing lighting built into the visual model because the lights need to move with the wings and all I've seen so far use the halo.bmp for this lighting. An effect lighting I believe is stationary and can only be used on non moving parts.Something to check into...and if thats not the case, then it's an issue that can only be corrected in the visual model.Regards,Van

I noticed that in one of the screenshots and did point it out, I thought it was fixed.I'm sure enough it's a simple tweak, maybe the team can tell us how to do it?Regards,James

I don't believe this is a simple tweak, because as it seems to me, the lights are built in into the model, so that they move with the flexing. But I didn't check yet if they really do... Can someone confirm?

Hay ,i am not 100% shure for that but i belive> the lights are built in into the modelthat is the true.So it can only be fixed by editing the model. IMOregardsMario G
