Can someone please help ?I have a problem in engaging the autothrottle - sometimes it wouldn't engaged and I have to fly without it being engaged so one can imagine how cautious on has to be to keep speed.The next question is when one lands on a runway like LICD where there is no ILS approach what is the best way to land? Do excuse my question perhaps some of you consider this a silly question but I am still learning. Thanks

Visual approaches are normal, RNAV (GPS) approaches are common, RNP approaches are becoming more and more common, there are still plenty of VOR and NDB approaches. You use what's available and suited to the situation (IFR, VFR, obstructions, company rules, etc.).
