January 28, 200818 yr I have about 3.5 Gigs of RAM memory running in Vista 32 bit system with an Intel Core2 Quad 2.40Ghz CPU and an nVidia 8800GTS video card.Whenever I try to use the 747 X for a little while, I get a message that my computer has run out of available memory. This does not happen with any other airline sim that I have. Is there something in this 747X installation that may be causing a memory leak of some kind? January 29, 200818 yr for out of memory errors in windows xp, I have gotten rid of them by basically making sure any landclass files in scenery folders do not have accompanying texture folders. flightsim manager can find any rogue landclass files for you, be careful though because it gives a few false positives, like with addon scenery from flight scenery which are ok to leave in.
January 29, 200818 yr Author I ran the PMDG 747 X last night and it seemed to work alright. I shut off the DX10 Preview selection and didn't have any problem with running out of memory.I contacted the shop that built my computer and they said that they had already installed that patch from Microsoft.I think it is a DX10 Preview issue.
