James, while I understand your point that PMDG should have an open system that cockpit builders can interface with, it's not like you HAVE to use mouse clicks in the PMDG aircrafts. I have the MCP and EFIS from CPflight (and soon radios and transponder) and they work extremely well with PMDG and LevelD. Add to that my CH Products throttle quadrant, TrackIR and Goflight radio modules (well, if I could get them to work without their software bringing my system to it knees) and I agree that flying with lots of hardware makes it a completely different experience.
