March 8, 200818 yr HiIn my 737NG, the VC gauges are too bright. Look at the picture attached. What can I do to reduce that brightness?ThanksGhiomhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/186153.jpg
March 8, 200818 yr Ghiom,Top left corner of every display (actual glass area) you have two hidden clickspots. The one with a + sign will increase brightness and consequently the other with a - sign will decrease brightness. You wanna use the latter.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
March 8, 200818 yr Author Thanks very muchdid not know that trick! What about this now:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/186154.jpgIs ti related to the night VC texture or something else? I find it much too bright as well. Thanks again for the 1st point.Ghiom
March 8, 200818 yr That seems to be a mishmash of night and day textures... I've seen this happen if you try to turn on night lighting without having the electrical systems set up correctly. Otherwise I wouldn't have a clue. You see this in 2D panel as well?Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
March 8, 200818 yr Author No, only in the VC, the 2D panel looks fine.Actually, it is good at night and as dawn comes, some parts of the VC panel stay dark, some others become blue like during daylight...Look at this:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/186155.jpgI have recently checked that I was using the default night texture (*_l.bmp).I don't understand this. Thanks for your help anywayGhiom
