Hi, can anyone tell me how to turn cockpit lighting on,,, I have read this somewhere before but have read the manuals so many times that i cant find it anymore (IF YOU KNOW WHERE ITS PRINTED CAN YOU ALSO LET ME KNOW AS ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY ;-) )Dave

The overhead panel, about center, is a control titled dome light that is an on/off control for lighting. Don't think it's mentioned in the AOM. The newer 747 has separate controls for panels and pedestal and gives an ability to dim the flight displays. The newest versions for FSX have features that take advantage of the advanced lighting techniques introduced last year.
