Should work... at least it has before. Go to RTE page 1, change DEST to new ICAO code. The FMC needs to load the navdata/sidstars for your new destination to allow approach selection. The rest is a matter of selecting the route to the approach.I usually put her in HDG mode (not LNAV) while doing this, then change the HDG to an intercept or new heading as appropriate.Hope this helps.
