PMDG 737NG (600&700) problems

Featured Replies

Hi guys.I've grown incredibly fond of the PMDG 737-600/700 in the past two weeks or so, and absolutly love it.But, since yesterday, I've had some unfortunate problems with it, it seems.I can load up the aircraft in the menu, no problem. I was planning a flight from YMLT to YSSY in the Virgin Blue livery, and when I started up the sim, it crashed.Every time since then, it crashes every time I load up the PMDG aircraft, and happens with no other...I've tried switching in-game from another aircraft, and the same problem still occurs.I looked up the 'technical information' part in the error report it offered me to send (which I can't, because FS2004 is on another, offline computer), and it listed three factors whjich I believe to be involved in the crashing -fs9CFG.txtscenery.CFGdxdaig.xmlall of which are in C:/documents and settings/(user)/application data/FS9.. and another file which I can't remember the name of. It seems to me that none of these files are to do with the aircraft, but that's causing the sim to crash.I wasn't sure whether to post this in the PMDG forum, as I believe the problem to be FS2004 related.Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I love flying this aircraft!!!-Jon

fs9CFG.txt is a backup of the fs9.cfg file made by something you added... it's not read by fs9 but fs9.cfg is.Try changing the extension of the config files (.cfg) to .bak; then, when you restart fs9 it will build new config files and you can try loading the pmdg aircraft. If she loads okay then you can start looking for the problem in one of the .bak files. You can probably find it quickly if you have added something recently by looking for changes it made to the config file. There was a post just like this several days ago... was that also you?

Thanks for the help, I'll try it out.I believe it was me, but my internet crashed at the moment of posting, and I wasn't sure if the post made it through or not.
