Errors on FMC 737NG

Hi all.This is my first message on this forum.I'm using again, on my fs2002, an old version of 737ng (I think it's v1.0).I have new sid/stars, but the fmc doesn't read them. It finds a lot of errors, for example (error at TRK, line 23).What can I do?Can I upgrade my FMC? Otherwise, where can I find good Sid/Stars?Thank you.

Welcome, but first please sign your real name in this forum.Upgrades are available at the PMDG web site: http://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/pages/down/updates.htmlHowever, and error at TRK, line 23 sort of message usually means there is an error in the sidstar file that it is trying to read.Here is an article on sidstars and where to get them: http://ops.precisionmanuals.com/wiki/SIDSTARSBasically, since you've been gone the navdata and sidstars have gone commercial because the old free stuff (DAFIF) is gone. There are some free sidstar procedures available from Bell, Downs or Yingling but the navdata should be the same vintage as the terminal procedures.
