June 10, 200817 yr Commercial Member Kreg,In the FS9/Sound/PMDG/737tng folder, take the three wav files with trim in their names and blank them with silence using an audio editing program like Audacity. Make sure they remain the same length, bitrate and sample rate. That will kill the sound. That sound is realistic and there for a reason though - hearing it going when it's not supposed to will alert the pilots quickly to a runaway trim scenario and that split second of recognition as to what's happening could mean the difference between dealing with it successfully and a disaster.
