July 16, 200817 yr For some reason that I cannot find I am now getting warnings on landing on the 744X. It does not matter if it is a full autoland or a manual fly myself. The landing goes fine up until the aircraft slows to nearly 80 knots and at that point a red warning will pop up and say Speedbrakes Extended. At about 80 knots I get another warning and the bell saying Configure Flaps. As soon as I cut the reverse thrust the Config Flaps message goes away.As soon as I cut the reverse thrust the autobrakes also release and thus I have to use manual braking which soon appears to cause an overheat in the brakes. This is only recent that this is started happening but I have not made any changes that I know of.John Veldthuishttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa475.png John VeldthuisSpecs: ASUS X79-DELUXE | Intel Core i7-5960X Extreme @ 4.2Ghz | Gigabyte GeForce GTX980 | 32GB Ram | Cooler Master HAF 932 case | ASUS PB279Q, 4K UHD, 27" Monitor | Windows 8.1 | Segate 2x2TB 7200rpm drives, SanDisk 2x256GB SSD| Corsair Hydro Series H105, Watercooling kit
July 16, 200817 yr John:I hardly ever operate the FSX version but I do seem to remember there is a registry tool fix that sometimes eliminates odd errors. Search for and try that- you are fully updated correct?Best-Carl F.
