Strobe & Beacon Effects

Featured Replies

Hi allI have a question aimed solely at the PMDG team. I was just looking through youtube watching real aircraft come & go in videos, including some flights at night & watching them made me remember something. When I've been at an airport at night (in the real world) watching aircraft come & go around the gates, I noticed that when the beacon lights are on, you not only see the red light flashing off various parts of the fuselage (which is already modelled very well by PMDG), but you also see it flashing on the ground. When onboard a real aircraft at night, I've noticed that when the strobes are turned on, you see the flash of the strobes on the concrete on the runway too. At present, we only see the red beacon light flashing on the parts of the fuselage near the beacon light itself. Do you understand what I mean by this? The reason that I bring this up is to ask the PMDG team if there is some kind of effect they could create that would give us the same visual experience in MSFS as we get in the real world with the lights flashing on the ground as well as on the fuselage. This question is by no means a criticism - it's just something I throught of moments ago and wanted to see if it's possible to do. If not, it's just a small thing that won't matter. If it could be done, it would look great though!Hoping someone can provide an answer to this enquiry.Regards,

Strobe related. Is there a way to slow down the speed of the strobes on 737 through the Aircraft CFG.They seem to be going rather fast.Nebojsa
