September 9, 200817 yr Author Peter,On load today to continue my KSFO-EGLL flight, I did exactly as you suggested re re-setting the CI to its existing value. Worked like a treat! Many thanks,Regards, RichardPS I have now got my overhead panel switched on on the Views.Instrument Panel list but, when I undocked it and moved it to my second screen, it doesn't display. Unchecking and re-checking has no effect. I suppose I will have to save the situation and reload again (and therefore re-test the CI theory). Cheers. September 9, 200817 yr Author Peter,I reloaded the situation and had to set CI to its existing value, and had to set Reserve from blank to 0 in order to get VNAV active. Still haven't got my overhead panel to display.Cheers, Richard Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
September 9, 200817 yr Richard:This sure looks like a complicated work-around but perhaps that is the nature of such a thing. Maybe this is an FSX issue with this particular aircraft. All I know is that in FS9, the only way I have ever saved an FMC guided flight is via the default save-flight procedure in the sim. It never results in VNAV loading normally on reactivation, but I've described my own work around above. Here's to work-arounds that....well, work !Cheers,Jonathan Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
