Just noticed the following:FSX 400: Lock/unlock switch on pedestal operates as in Fs9 version but, in VC door, is permanently closed with no hot spot to operate it.FSX 400F: No switch on pedestal. A quick re-install has solved the 400 Pax problem and, from the FS9 400F product page on the PMDG site, it looks as though the 400F does not have a flight deck door to the crew accomodation.John Rooum

That is correct about the -400F. It has only a curtain, as is the case in most (perhaps all) real-world B744 Freighters. The flight deck door is only necessary where the aircraft carries paying passengers as a security measure to prevent hijackers entering the cockpit.
