FMC INCOMPLETE

Featured Replies

I am trying to program FMC in loading a flight plan found on library (CYYZCYUL).I position the plane on 06R and try to complete the POS INI and PERF INI pages.I verified ROUTE1 Page and all navaid were listed in. I completed speed/altitude for each.But... despite data entered,v1, vr, v2 wont show up and INCOMPLETE message stand on R6 LSKDoes anybody be kind enought to give me step by step data to be entered. I have tried with the book but it does not work like it said.Jean-ClaudeCYQB

>I have tried with the book but it does not work >like it said. If speeds are not computed it means you are missing some basic data - like runway, ZFW, fuel reserve or cost index. If you go back and check your pages it should be obvious what is missing. Though you may not believe me - it is all in the manual.Michael J.

Hi Michael,I restarted FS2002, selected my saved flight witch included my flight plan.I find out that after ROUTE pages where completed and activated I did not press the exec key, thus blocking the process that change R6 LSK prompt to PERF INIT.That page filled directed me to TAKEOFF page.As soon as I entered the flaps 15 data, VOILA ! that all speeds where set.I noted that if I dont follow the NORMAL procedure, (from page to page as directed by prompts)even if I fill all data, it cause the INCOMPLETED message to stay on for ever !thank a lot.Jean-Claude

>page to page as directed by prompts)even if I fill all data, >it cause the INCOMPLETED message to stay on for ever ! >JC,I have no problem with entering data in no particular sequence. Once all data have been entered the "INCOMPLETE" goes away. I don't know how you do it exactly but I find the FMC logic to be quite flexible.Michael J.

Jean-Claude,The data can be entered in any order. The incomplete message will go away the second you put the last bit of info in its place, believe me :). The FMC is very flexible.Enjoy the 767!cheers,Tero
