October 2, 200223 yr Moderator Hi all,I'm very familiar with the 767PIC but one thing I cannot suss out is how to tune Nav1 using the keyboard alone. Pressing N highlights the whole number part of the frequency but pressing + and - does not change the values. There are no specialist commands in the 767PIC assignments so how on earth can it be done? I want to assign this to a programmable button but until I can achieve it with the keyboard it's a non-starter.In fact, the whole process of tuning the Comm radio, Transponder and ADF seems very hit and miss compared to default FS2002 aircraft. Given that they share the same FS commands I find this very confusing.Oh, and before I get told to do a search I tried but found nothing relevant. Thanks for any help. Ray (Cheshire, England). October 5, 200223 yr Author Moderator I'm very disappointed that no-one has answered my question. I would have thought that many of you would have the same problem but it seems I'm the only one who is trying to change Nav1 radio, transponder etc by keyboard inputs rather than by using the mouse.Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to wait until I can afford a GoFlight stack :-(Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). October 5, 200223 yr You can try the latest version of FSUIPC and use the custom key assignments. Good Luck.Mark. Mark CYYZ
October 6, 200223 yr Author Moderator Mark,Thanks for replying. I use FSUIPC to map many of my controls. I am unable to control either the whole part of the NAV radio or the decimal part of it with keystrokes or by using the Nav1 commands within FSUIPC. The radio on the default FS aircraft does respond to the N key (to assign the Nav1 radio) followed by + and - keys to change the value. But, the PIC 767 does NOT respond.Given that there are no custom commands within the PIC menu for the radios it's fair to assume that the default keys operate the two Nav radios. Are you, or anyone else reading this, able to control the Nav radios with key strokes? I certainly can't.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England).
