November 23, 200223 yr I am providing a link to Beta 5.2 for you, which I have just checked through and packed.http://planeta.terra.com.br/educacao/wagne.../767disp3b5.zipI am not that sure that this link will work just by clicking. If it doesn't, try copying and pasting it into a new browser window. This version is a public test. If no major issues come up I will upload it to Avsim. Please read the instructions and tips before asking for help. Here's hoping everything will work fine.Enjoy it.WagnerPS: Ilan, thanks for the tips. Actually I wanted to hide the headers from view but in a way everyone will get the same result without having to set that. I gave up (it was for the last two sheets).Previous thread on the Dispatcher washttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID33/1968.html
November 24, 200223 yr Gave me errors when I clicked on it or copied it into a new window, some kind of warning from the site (sorry don't speak the language). However, right clicking then saying "save target to disk" works just fine.Cheers,
November 24, 200223 yr Wow! Looks very nice and professional. Haven't checked the functionality, but it looks like a stunner. Thanks! :-kewl
November 24, 200223 yr Looks great! It appears to work properly as far as I can tell in my brief use, but I did notice that the local arrival time appears to be wrong...it looks like the local arrival time is for the DEPARTURE airport, not the arrival airport...just a minor thing thoughThanks for the effort!Damon
November 24, 200223 yr Wagner, Thanks very much for your work. I have used Rob's for over a year and this just makes it even better.Of course I must ask the inevitable question: Will there be a non-metric version?I did notice that the correction for daylight savings time is applied incorrectly. In the U.S. daylight savings time moves you one time zone east not west. In other words KJFK which is normally -5 from UTC would be -4 under daylight savings timeAgain thanksHarryWWA5513Sr. Capt/JFK

November 24, 200223 yr Saofe,I think the answer to your question is on the very first sheet of the Dispatcher (General), within the yellow box:"Before continuing you must make sure the following are set:Tools > Add-ins > 'Analysis Toolpack' must be ticked (it may need the Office CD)... The spreadsheet will not work without the above being selected."Have you activated the Analysis Toolpack?Wagner
November 24, 200223 yr Hi Wagner!Great job sir! I am looking into it, and if I can help with something I will do so soon.BTW - I also have a solution for the display question you explained above, I will send you my suggestions in a few days.Ilan

November 24, 200223 yr First of all, thanks for the feedback everyone, without your comments there is no way I can know what works and what does not.I have checked and confirmed the local time is indeed screwed. I will try to fix it, but it is not that easy.Once we get rid of all major working problems (I won't attempt to fix every routine/logical error that may be pointed out), then it would be interesting to hear from you on the reliability of predictions, particualrly trim, RTOT, and fuel burn.Cheers,Wagner
November 25, 200223 yr Have you got the "Analysis ToolPak - VBA" add-in enabled. If this is not enables you will get this error.RegardsRussell Jourdain (NZL007/ZK-RHJ)
November 25, 200223 yr I have found the problems with the time: one was logical, the other is airport database related, which contains the UTC offset for each APT. I am working on the former, but won't be able to do anything about the latter, as explained in the disclaimer (luckly that variable of the database is fine for most APTs included). It's now midnight Sunday here in Brazil and I need to stop. I will be very busy at work from tomorrow until Monday, 2 Dec.If the more experienced fellows could provide help and tips to others here, that would be great. I will catch up with the problems on 3 Dec.Have all a good week.WagnerPS: People, read the instructions! That's the first thing everyone should do.
