February 19, 200323 yr This post is intended for all of you who are still using the original visual/external aircraft 767 model supplied by Wilco on the PIC767 CD: I have noticed a number of posts lately with screen shots of the original Wilco visual model. With this model, you are doing at least two things:1 - Losing frame rates/speed/fluidity. The Wilco model uses scenery files and costs your resources/speed big time.2 - Flying a crappy looking aircraft when there are far superior, free - visual models available and easily merged to the PIC767 panel.Go here and choose your 767:http://www.projectopensky.com(The downloads section for 767's re-opened today at POSKY)Then get this merge utility:http://www.sls.lcs.mit.edu/ilh/fs/PIC-POSKY-v3-763.zipThis link is for merging the 767-300 from POSKY to the PIC767 panel. Lee's merge application/merge will quickly blend the POSKY model with the PIC panel and NOT affect the awesome flight dynamics developed by "WELP".Viva la difference!Rob. System specs: Dual core E6300 (1.86g X 2), 2gb RAM, nvidea7800GT, Saitek yoke, CH throttle (6 lever), Soundblaster live.Add-ons: FSX: LDS767, FSL Concorde, FT E175/195, PMDG 747X/737X, Active Sky E, some freeware airports.Human specs: Desktop simulation since FS1, beta tester (LDS, FSL), 737NG simulator tech (Threshold Aviation), r sole+.
