just recently this started happening to my Engine display only. The warning messages when cleared they stick. This pic was taken using the airfrance 767 PIC plane.....so I tried to see if maybe it was just a POSKY issue..but this was with the origional plane. I am stumped. I want to blame the new FSUIPC.....but I cant find the previous version of it to test that idea. The only othe rthing I have installed prior to this was the new Dash 8 from that Oliv guy....I uninstalle dit then reinstalled PIC to see if that was th eprob...but no joy.any help would be great. thankspichttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e6698144be71e14.jpg41,200 downloads and counting on Avsim alone.http://www.projectopensky.com/banners/gary_banner.gif

No i'm not a "real" pilot, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

You may be missing a font set. Check to see if you have Lucida Console installed on your computer.

Gary what O/S are you running, here is a line from the frolov dash 8 install instructions: If not using windows XP as your operating system, place the included gdiplus.dll into your main fs2k2 folder. If this happened to you after the dash 8 install maybe this DLL is causing you problems if you installed it in your fs2002 main folder if your running win XP.

Gary, you need to install the Lucida Console font. I don't think it's installed with 767 PIC but its needed so you can properly display the messages. You get weird message displays when you don't have that font.

Looks to me like there's actually an invisible gauge/black box sitting on top of that section of the panel (blocking out the messages underneath). My instinct would be to check the panel config and make sure that nothing has been placed inthat position.Am I wacked or what? Is this possible? Call me crazy - but that's what the picture looks like to me. DSCVA3339
