March 10, 200323 yr Hello all,I need help with this problem. Everytime I end up push back and and try to move to runway 767 PIC starts going in circles. Have anyone seen this problem before?
March 10, 200323 yr Does this happen in cockpit view as well as spot view, I had the problem in spot view until I got a new computer.
March 10, 200323 yr QMON:I had exactly the same problem yesterday, however under different circumstances.Just to practice, I undertook a wonderful "full FMC" 45 min. flight, that ended with a full autoland. After touchdown and rollout, I disconnected the a/p, used some brakes and reverse power and got ready to turn (left) into the taxiway, as I pressed the left pedal to start the turn, "all hell broke loose" and I started spinning to the left (to the full annoyance of a colleague that was landing after me). Couldn't "undo" this and I had to shut FS down.I am sure that we will get some good advice after folks read these posts.Roberto Roberto Stopnicki Toronto, Canada
March 10, 200323 yr I bet FSUIPC is the answer/fix to your problem.Go to the Technical tab and ckeck the "Control Spike Elimination" boxes and make sure your joystick is properly calibrated...Bien amicalementMichelKSEA
March 10, 200323 yr Qmon,Do you have your realism settings set to the far right (max real) and the same with the P Factor(torgue) settings. I found if they are set on max you will get this bad ground affect. If they are set too far to the right, reduce it see if that helps you spenning problems.CheersBob Johnson
March 10, 200323 yr Watch the engine indications to see if you are controlling only a single engine. You may have accidentally selected a single engine with keyboard commands. I can't remember how to reselect both again, something like E-1-2 or shift-E-1-2.Lee Hetherington (KBED)http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
March 13, 200323 yr I have the same thing happen to me all the time.It only happens after I land however. The rudder will always get stuck in the full left position, causing me to do more donuts on the infield grass than the winner of the Daytona 500. Why does it do this? I wish I knew!
March 13, 200323 yr You may want to cycle the YAW DAMPERS on and off to make sure you don't have a stuck rudder. This happen to me in KDFW when I started to taxi and it fixed the situation. These are just ideas to help with this spinning occurance.CheersBob Johnson
March 13, 200323 yr Let's not forget to check the option "Eliminate rudder spikes" in FSUIPC. Best Wishes, Randy J.
