March 12, 200323 yr When I start the engines in the PIC767 they seem to spoil up quite (and may be unrealistic) fast. Is there any way to get a somewhat longer spoil up time? And: In the real flight deck, the engine indications won
March 12, 200323 yr I've previously read, in this forum, that it was a compromise, in order to keep the fun aspect in .
March 12, 200323 yr While the time is off a bit, the sequence for correct start is right on and this is whats important here. I guess we want our 30 dollar simulator to be a perfect copy of the real 767. We got lucky with this one and maybe we will never see this quality to details again {until WELP does it again that is!}. I could give you a list of things that are not the same as the rw bird. For one I cannot input forcast winds aloft for my descent. There are others, but the point is that there is enough here to have a enjoyable flight, as close as one can get out of a "game".Best Wishes, Randy J. March 13, 200323 yr IMO, the degree of realism with the PIC 767 is tremendous. I was just interested to know wether my impression was right and if there was any chance to modify the FS.cfg to get a somewhat slower spoil up. The 767 is still my absolute favorite aircraft ( amoung other things the only one which gives the flightsimmer the possibility to stand 10 minutes at the gates waiting for INS alignment).
March 13, 200323 yr Andreas, I don't really know for sure how much the time is off because all the information I have does not deal with this particular time element. Do you fly the 757-767? Just what is the correct time for this? I'm not sure if this is hard coded, but if it is, there will be no way to modify it.Best Wishes, Randy J. March 14, 200323 yr I agree the engines spool up way too fast!!! I really wish that somebody who is in the know could change this problem.
