PIC crashes when I try to save a situation

Featured Replies

When I have PIC 767 as active aircraft, my FS2002 crashes when I try to save the situation. Does anybody know this problem ? ( I use Win 98 SE)Matthias Huck, Germany

Are you using the "3rd Party Patch"? It can cause simular issues while saving flights.[h5]Best Wishes,Randy J. I installed the patches 1.1, 2002 (=1.2) and 1.3. What is the "3rd party patch" ?Matthias Huck

Matthias,3rd party patch is the latest patch (I guess it's the 1.3) which was meant to make it possible to use the Aerosoft MCP in combination with PIC767.I encountered the same problems on my Win ME system after instlling that patch (which I had to do because I have a MCP). Two weeks ago I did a new install with Win XP and now I can save situations again, even with the patch installed.Kind regards,Stephan Haashttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...or=SVA1&a=a.jpg

Hello, thank you, the problem seems to be solved. It was the Patch 1.3. After un- and new installation of PIC (using PICCleaner.exe) and patching to 1.2 it is now possible to save a situation.Matthias

Stephan do you get the sim to save the .FMC files also? I can save situations but lose my fmc data... (using XP pro + MCP)Ilan Jonas

Ilan,Negative, that function was lost somewhere down the line. If I remember well, it has been discussed here before,

Yes it was discussed here before. Most people say it is lost, but some (Nico for example) still say they can save .fmc as well. I think it still needs checking.
