Hi All, My friend has decided to give up simming, and as a present for all the help I have given her on her system setup, she has given me her copy of 767PIC. I have a few question's that she was unable to answer. Is there a way of using the 767 panel with the better models such as IFDG, Posky. Will 767PIC work in FSACOFThanks in advanceJason

I bet it would have taken you less time to answer my questions, than to type YOUR sarcastic reply.I did not have the time to wade through all the posts, as my post states NEW TO 767 PIC, so even if i do search, im not sure what im looking for. But anyway thanks. :)Jason

Hiya JasonOk u can use PIC effectively with the IFDG & POSKY models. There is a merge file available created by Lee Hetherington. Best bet is to search for 'merge', all instructions are included inside the download.I kinda home made my aircraft.cfg for use with the IFDG 767, based on comments here in this forum and in the IFDG forum. If you would like it let me know - [email protected] prefer the POSKY 767 I *think*, it certainly looks more like a 767 but then the IFDG does have plenty of graciating features; six of one, 1/2 doz of the other I think. At the moment PIC will not work in FS2004, more specifically the gauges will not work because as I understand it PIC wasn't made using the M$ SDK. Noone (apart from the developers obviously) really knows the future of PIC. There have been several long threads on this and from what I can gather it looks probable that at some time PIC will be updated in some way. Nothing is a certainty though. If you are new to PIC you want to take a look at some other additions to the product like VFR/Landing views by Phil Geddes, 'CRVM' also did another version. And a TCAS addon recently released by Lee Hetherington. All these are pretty much a must and are available in the Avsim file library.Cheers :-)

Thanks Tom.I'll remember that next time when I attempt to help, and someone doesn't like the answer, like: SEARCH THE FORUM.Could we please have a sticky with SEARCH THE FORUM FIRST BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN ANSWERED A MILLION TIMES?But, failing that, perhaps Mattias, & Muppet can be designated to answer all questions that have already been addressed in this forum.DS CVA3339 / UKD149System: Attlon 900 McW Hamster/Gerbilized Quantum Accessible 55Gig Iodized-Encrusted Four-poster with Mega-brill Farzenhuuven http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

Not to fan the flames, but its obvious why DS and others get frustrated and post messages like that. When the PIC veterans and other helpful people spend as much time as they do posting detailed messages for people with questions, it must become bothersome answering those questions over and over when people could simply be looking up old posts by searching the forum. That IS what the feature is there for, after all.RyanPS PIC will NOT be compatible with FS ACOF, and there are no plans for an upgrade.

Of course, what is wrong with me? :D

IF FSACOF is not compatible with PIC767 then what will the PIC767 veterans do?Jason

DS just turned 63. He is a crotichie old geezer that will be arogant until the end of time. Kiddin aside, DS is a fine man, his sence of humor will take some time to get used to. You have to read between the lines. As for the pic vets. we will stay with FS2002. Why pay for puffy clouds and old aircraft with COF
