Does anyone know of any addons that will convert the 767 FMC/CDU to a 757 version?Thanks

Hi guysThis may sound like a stupid question, but what exactly is this PIC-Voyager merge you talk about. :-hmmm I've tried a search on all the forums to see what this is, but this is the only post that the search comes up with. :-( This post caught my eye straight away when I first saw it earlier on this morning, and im very keen to know what this merge actually is, so if someone, possible DShutt can explain what this is and what it does, i'd be very grateful. :-)If it means being able to use the PIC panel with a 757 flight model without having to put in extremely high ZFW's to get accurate takeoff v-speeds, then Dshutt, a crate of lager is coming your way from me. :-beerchug Best regards,Lee Holland.BAW446 - Captain - British Airways Virtual

I've tried that merge and I wouldn't give you a case of rootbeer? Let alone the real McCoy!!!!!!!You better go back to the drawing board on this one DShutt, because it just doesn't work.I was up until the wee hours of the morning when I could have been on VATSIM with my buddies after doing this merge. This merge got my whole B767 PIC program completely screwed up. It took hours un-installing, re-installing, un-installing again and then re-installing, just to get things back to normal.I don't mean to sound ###### here, but really, before you start putting out merges, you better hire a team of beta testers, because this kind of backyard, garage type of programming just doesn't cut it!If this post just saves one other B767 PIC user from all the trouble and aggravation I had to go through, than this post was worth the time I took to write it.Now that I think about it you were probably high on beer when you wrote this complete hogwash merge!All I can say to you DShutt is stick to basket weaving and not programming!I know you are very proud of your very exotic computer setup because you advertize it on everyone of your post.System: Attlon 900 McW Hamster/Gerbilized Quantum Accessible 55Gig Iodized-Encrusted Four-poster with Mega-brill Farzenhuuven Now, I could be all wrong and will eat my own words, because I don't have such an exotic computer set up as you do. BE WARNED!Do not trust a word Bill or DShutt say about this merge.They are good friends and from what I've heard through the B767 grapevine they worked on this so called merge together! They are suckering us into being beta testers for free!Just want you to know the real truth about this merge that just doesn't work. I advise keeping it off your machine, sure wish I did!!

Ed your responce is very not like you. Behave.The pic/voyager merge has a FDE that is pure PIC. Basically DS did the same as Lee's PIC/Posky merge, but as I'm not a programmer, and am not involved in this project, I didn't create a batch file, so the individual will have to grab their pic.air file and the Voyagers cfg. file from the dealer. Getting one from DS is an option, but I think his is being used and he is reluctant to giving it out. Perhalps I can make a patch. ;) Oh no, that word again!

Getting a little warm in your so called PIC-Voyager merge kitchen?Thought you could fool all of us hard-core PIC-er's into falling for this so called "Bells and Whistles" merge.Sure, I got fooled and had to spend hours getting my system back to normal. It only cost me a few hours and a few stands of hair.But, at least I didn't have to shell out any of my money to you two "Used Car Salesmen," which you two remind me of.And Bill don't try to squirm out of it, be a man and admit how wrong it was to dump this so called merge on us before it was really bug free and that goes for you too DShutt.And as far as your two bit attorney DShutt, he can email until the cows come home...........you can't scare me from telling or posting the truth!You two are the ones with "MooMoo on your Faces"
