September 7, 200322 yr PIC 1Looking back at the wing and engine over the Atlantic.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35594.jpgPIC 2Looking Down at Boston and KBOS.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/35595.jpgOutbound Flight Time EGPF - KSFB was 8hrs 35mins.Inbound Flight Time KSFB - EGPF was 7hrs 25mins - at one stage the ground speed on the IFE was showing 675mph.Looked for a while on THU & FRI that Tropical Storm Henri was going to cause a delay to the flight home, but it broke up on FRI night.Just after New York, we encountered some moderate/severe turbulence for a while, caused by winds from Hurricane Fabian.
September 7, 200322 yr It's good to see you made it back home. Moderate/severe turblence is neat to hear about but when it's your food tray that sails up and hits the top of the cabin it's not so cool.Mike
September 7, 200322 yr Yeah,was pretty bad, even the flight attendants got told to take their seats. Nothing flew around the cabin, but there was some large sideways yaw at times.
