Hi,I mentioned the RW-switching / voice-ATIS program CRAAS a while ago in another thread, and the interest has been huge towards the application.Those of you, who have downloaded the developer version of it, might have noticed that the Voice-features do not work very well, if at all.However, I'm pleased to announce that we are making very good progress with CRAAS at the moment, and soon in the future will probably be taking beta-testers for the new version. Once the VATSIM wheelin&deelin is taken care of (Richard Critz, please read your email!), we hope to offer CRAAS for official VATSIM use. Please do not make anymore CRAAS requests, because at this stage the older version is being rewritten and the new version is still too fresh to put out to anyone. All I can say is that the voice-features already work pretty nicely ;).CRAAS in a nutshell.1. Switches Roger Wilco to correct voice-room, when you change COM frequency in FS (be it with a mouse, or with a home-cockpit gadget).2. Delivers the ATIS typed by the VATSIM controller both in TEXT and VOICE (spoken) from the frequency the active ATC is on. (ATIS type 1)3. Delivers a generated ATIS/weather information message from the REAL-LIFE ATIS frequency of the airfield in TEXT and VOICE, regardless of active VATSIM ATC coverage. This message is available always. (ATIS type 2)4. Supports COM1&COM2 and NAV-tuned ATIS-stations (ATIS type 2).More information: [email protected]
