December 15, 200322 yr We are featuring a Video gallery in our site offering aviation and flight simulation videos via real-time streaming. I've been thinking on adding some fresh new material and the following idea came to mind...What if, someone, using a Digital Video recorder captured the output of a flight session in VATSIM with PIC (including all the audio and controller interaction) and publish it in a website for others to learn from it? I could only imagine that such video will DEFINITELY hook new people to both PIC and Vatsim flying, so I'll more than happy to host this kind of videos for free for others to see... even as a training tool this could be VERY useful don't you think?Anyway.. if anyone is interested you can write me at [email protected] and I can explain in a bit more detail how can this be done.If you are interested in seeing the current videos/screenshots in the gallery you can go to http://www.simradar.com/Feature/ there's lomac videos, real footage misc videos and even MS promo's but not a single Flight Simulator 2002, 2004 video of a user doing the checkerboard in Kai Tak, or a Funchal Approach, the innsbruck challenge or a 40kt wind component crosswind landing. I'll love to see FS2002 videos, but using PIC so others will see what they are missing...comments?
