Prop Engine Startup Smoke Effects Question

Several of my prop engine aircraft do not appear to have any startup smoke effects even though there is an effect file fx_engstrt.fx in the effects folder. What may be the cause of the problem and how do I fix it so that my classical airliners belch out some smoke????Thanks for your help!Airbus

It real life you normally do not see any smoke at start-up. So, I would leave it as it is.Regards,Onno

Which airliners are you talking about?
