Lost landing lights

Featured Replies

Until the 767PIC Flying club flight just before Christmas it is a while since I flew the 767PIC but during that flight and a subsequent one I noticed I no longer have landing or taxi lights visible from Randy's landing view.AFAIK nothing has changed since I flew 767PIC more regularly other than a graphics card change, this change is reflected in fs2002.cfg.I am using the PIC/POSKY merge with Randy's landing view and do get rain on the windscreen. If anyone could suggest what to look for to get the landing and taxi lights back I would be grateful.I have checked the zip file for Randy's modified view and all files, including the gauge files look to be OK.I don't know if this is relevant, I have icons on the main panel for pushback gauge and expanded EHSI and AH but the icons are not visible. I seem to remember that you need to hit 'L' or SHIFT+L to make them visible, this does not happen. If I hit 'L' or SHIFT+L the panel flashes a sort of horrible orange colour but the icons do not appear.T&L is on, hardware lighting effects is set to 8, no AA nor AF is set either within FS or in the graphics card (GF4 Ti 4800SE). Tri-linear filtering is on. Landing lights is checked in Aircraft display.I should add the obvious, landing lights and taxi lights are visible from Spot view. Thanks for any help.

Vulcan,Please check that you still have this option:SEE_SELF=1set in FS2002.cfg.I struggled for months to get the lights visible, and finally after changing that value to 1 made it work. Some addon had changed it to 0, and that disabled the visible landing lights...cheersTero
