A Reminder to all forum Readers of the following:PIC on Vatsim on the 22nd February 2004 - The TRI Airports Challenge.A contest between 3 VA's to see how can score the most landings at any of the following 3 airports - KBOS / KDCA / KLGA. Hone your skills on the KDCA River Visual to Runway 19 or the more challenging KLGA Expressway Visual to Runway 31.To take part in this event the PIC VA was formed. Our sole aim is to win this event. Currently we have 14 pilots registered to take part in the event. Applications are still being sought.Apply now via the following web page:http://www.pic767flyingclub.com/piconvatsim.htm

...its' not the quantity of PIC pilots that matters, rather the quality I say :-) One PIC pilot is worth a dozen Delta Virtual's....kidding...I assume just doing circuits / touch and go is NOT part of the scenario??BTW, where are the Rules (of Engagement) posted? There should be some to keep those BAW maniacs in line.Right.

Rob,Haven't seen any specific rules - I think Bev might know if there are.You know the PIC rules of engagement - you got my email.

I got the rules, but how does everyone else get them? If you recall the cross the pond event where the "winners" did not follow any "rules"....I can see those same folks doing circuits around DCA and then claiming victory....no names mentioned...BAW....who said that???Of course, the real victory always belongs to PIC767 pilots for flying a superior machine, and actually flying the difficult approaches by the book :-)Rob.

Good for another 90 days.

and....who is keeping official score? Who and how does one determine what is a disqualification? What if someone crashes...surely all theuir flights for the day are wiped off the scoreboard? What if someone flies over the Washington monument and violates the space...that should be an easy disqualification after they are shot down...I could keep going but I see I woke up Stiffy so I will shuddap :-)

Rob,I think Bev needs to supply us with some "official rules".We are up against American and Delta VA's. BAW Virtual ain't invited - this event is by invitation only.Remember the PIC SOPs I emailed for this event are to ensure that we win at all costs.Currently we are at 14 pilots.

You see?Another example of Rob wasting his day at the office with too much minutiae.Either that, or he has hypoxia after his night flight over Hogtown with BVC.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
