I'm using a set of sounds that Rob Hall has cobbled together - not sure they're the best, but they are certainly NICE.Not sure where you can get the package as it's 15 megs and incorporates OTHER sounds form other sources.Rob?Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg

HiI have been using Ben-Alexander Brown's excellent soundset.I emailed him a couple of weeks ago, and he told me he was about to publish a new version of it sometime soon. Ben ?The sounds in that package are very realistic. I provided some sounds for it myself. Have you missed the gear groan when the ldg gear hatches close in the end of a gear-up cycle ? Try this gear up sound from the set. It's a real-life recording from a real 757.www.ee.oulu.fi/~partanen/Gearup.wavWhat about the effect that when you move start selector to GND, the whispering from the air diminishes as all the air is forwarded to the engine... it is very cool and very true to life.I'll check out Rob's sounds myself later.Tero

This package I blended several sound sets together and edited the config file to taste. It is not perfect by any means, but does have some nice subtleties that ring true. The engine growl is a bit much, more like sitting over the wing...but hey, it is fun :-)Thanks to Bill for making it avaiable...hopefully no one sues the poor barstad :-)Rob.
