Lee's TCAS & FS2002 & AVSIM online flying

Hi guys, sorry if this problem has been posted before, made a forum search but didn't find anything helpful.I use FS2002 with PIC767 for my VATSIM online flights and had Lee's old TCAS installed and in use without any troubles (using AIBridge). I have now installed the new TCAS II v7...it seems to be set up properly (test mode ok) but does not display any multiplayer traffic.I tried both AIBridge v2.3 and an older version (from June 2002).Any ideas what might be wrong here? The gauge installation itself seems ok, at least I crosschecked all PANEL.CFG entries twice... ;-)Thanks very much for any hints!Phil

Guys, well, too bad that nobody knows any answer to my problem. Some days ago I realized the following: the new TCAS works ok with FS2002 AI traffic. As soon as I start a multiplayer session (for a SquawkBox connection from a second computer) all the displayed AI traffic vanishes and that's it. All the SB multiplayer traffic simply doesn't show up, although I can see several aircraft (online traffic from SquawkBox!) flying around me both in FS itself and on SB's own built-in simple TCAS display.Would appreciate any ideas which might solve this. Many Thanks!Phil

Well here's what I do...Within AIBridge (v2.4 to be precise) I make sure I have the following checked and set :(Using SquawkBoxManual Connect OnlyAfter which I click in the Multiplayer menu and select TCP/IP after which a message box pops up requesting to Locate Session. So to locate the MP session I hosted with FS2002 I simply type in a loopback IP 127.0.0.1 and voila!!I would recommend you connect to VATSIM using SB before attempting to connect AIBridge and traffic should display as normal. If you don't select Using SB u may see yourself in the TCAS and also make sure to put in your VATSIM callsign in AI Bridge 'player name' boxHope this helps ...EDIT: I am using v2.4, i realized this only because of the zip filename. Jose, you forgot to change the file version number .. lol .. it shows as 2.3

Hi,I've had the same problems before, and they got solved after I switched to AIBridge v1.0. The old version. With the newer versions there was no luck :(.Tero

Who says innovation is good :)Version 1 is based in a MS multiplayer sample. Version 2 is in lobby connection. It seems some users have problems with that. I believe that the PIC Flying club still has version 1 available.Jos

Thanks to you all, guys!I set up everything exactly as Terence explained, but still no success. :-( It's strange...I can see the VATSIM multiplayer traffic right ahead of me in FS2002 some 10 miles ahead and 1000ft below, but nothing on my TCAS (used AIBridge v2.4 this time). Will try all other AIBridge versions and see what happens...Anyway, thanks VERY much for your help & comments, guys!!See ya!Phil

Allright, gentlemen, I finally found the problem! :-)When connecting AIBridge to FS2002 I was used to leaving the IP address field empty and connecting to FS without entering a specific IP, assuming that AIBridge would connect to the FS MP session on the local computer (was that a wrong assumption?).Finally I tried to enter the full IP address of the local computer and suddenly several TCAS targets popped up... :-)Well, I don't really have an explanation for this, but at least it works! Thanks again for all your hints!!Phil
