Release Date? Could it be True?

Hi All,I was just browsing around the web and found this site.http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=d...etails&pid=1359TAKE A LOOK IN THE RIGHT HAND CORNER AT THE AVAILABILITY DATEIt's just around the corner. Use your tax returns to bump up the old System.:-beerchug Brian Officer

That's not the release date. It's just a guess. At least I hope it is, I would'nt want to wait anohter two months, when release has already been delayed so much. Mid January has already passed by, and I don't think people want to wait until March.

Hi Brian!!I think that this "release date" is for the "CD version".....I hope have this beauty before the next month.....Regards!

Hello,I read on another topic here that Simware has no idea of the release date, so according to one of the moderators of this forum, it's not true.Talking about experience, I believe it since none of the Simware release dates were correct.Regards,

Someone already posted this link a while ago. The Level D team said they don't have any more of an idea then we do about a release date. I think the latest thing on the release was ,"a matter of weeks". Its already been two weeks since that was said so who knows! Regards Tony S

That Release Date Is For The CD not the Download edition.....The Download Edition Release date is unknown at this time.Once again we are allowing speculation post to seep through the cracks.

But I don't understand because in the LDS 767 video looks release in autumn after in the official site Flight1 report delivery mid January. Now looking on this site there is a new available date: 15/03/05.But this is true????RegardsValerio

Given the *7* replies in the queue for this thread, but none have made it to the surface, I presume one of the two is true:1.) That is the expected release, and this item is acting as a soft announcement for it.-or-2.) There are 7 people lining up to bash the original post about how if it's not coming from LDS, it's not a release date... To calm down... To give them the time they need to work out bugs... etc. etc.If I was a betting man, I'd place my money on #2. :) Germ

Maybe, let's hope so. But they can take all the time they want getting it right. This bird is long awaited and if we have to wait a few more weeks so that it runs like a dream then great. Let's just say after one purchasing one particular wide-bodied twin by a *certain* developer that was virtually unflyable when released, was then withdrawn from sale and is still to this day a massive disappointment, I can safely say that the Level D team can take all the time they need. We're a hard bunch to please, and we'd be the first people who would scream blue murder if the thing didn't work properly. I guess they're playing it safe. This promises to be a benchmark add-on, like the PMDG 737, they want to get it right.

Folks,As far as I know there is no release date set yet for the LDS767, download or CD. As others have already stated it seems the date on the SimMarket site is a "ballpark" guess they came up with.Once a release date is known it will be posted here and on the LDS web site. Until then, there is no release date.

Alex>Mid January has already passed by, and I don't think people want>to wait until March. With all due respect. It's not a matter what people want or dont want. But you have to wait until they are finished. Simple as that!Cheers, and remember that patience is a virtue!

It is 'my opinion only' from dealing with other distributor's of software that this is at best a 'guessti-mate' and one of the reasons could be to get people to commit their 'money' up-front to purchase the product from them. However, if it comes before the March 15th date, everybody is happy. If it comes after the March 15th date, the software distributor is also delighted, that is, if you have committed to purchase this item from them.Either way, as I have said before, I have seen distributors amend their previous estimates by a few months....So, don't get excited and don't do alot of pre-speculation. When it comes out, everybody including the distributors will be ectastic..Regards,jack

This is exactly why I don't bother to post on most of these forums. If those of you who immediately set out to bash and post your negative comments had taken a breath and bothered to read the subject, you would have realized there are question marks at the end of the statement. Therefore, it's a simple question. No speculation on my part. No announcement. As I said, I just ran across this site and thought it was interesting that a date was posted. Thanks to those who took the time to be constructive in your comments. To the rest of you, if you continue to stress out over such minor things, the release date won't matter because you won't be around long enough to enjoy the product once it is released. No more post from me.Brian:-hang

And on that happy note I think I'll lock this thread. I believe we have flogged this horse enough.
