Downloadable?

Just curious, when the 767 is done, will it be available for a downloadable purchase?

Hi All...Actually to take the question one step further....can we download 767 on a separate PC than the one where MSFS is installed?Just curious if the publisher will use a dowloadable key or do we manually enter in a few hundered digits to unlock it?(The "Sim Machine" is not hooked up to the T1). Yes, in the Flight One E-commerence package. I was told slightly smaller download than the ATR package at the Avsim Conference in Denver. I believe that one of the developers said should be around 50 Meg, plus or minus.....Steve

I remember seeing a post not so long ago from a member of LDS saying the product would be approx. 150MB.It would be great if it were indeed 50MB like you said Steve - I'm on dialup sadly!Thankfully my girlfriend has a broadband connection.'Baby, can I please use your computer for a sec?...'

Whoa, you are right, I stand corrected. I just looked at the Flight One E-Commerence package for my ATR and it is 153 Meg in size, so you are probably right it's "WAS", back in September, around 150 Meg in size. I am sure all the add-on, fixes, etc. will jump it up a bit or they may have figured out a way to trim it down, but just stay on the good side of your girl friend for a while longer.Steve

Please if possible try to make the downloadable file less than 128 MB so that I can download it on my USB stick from work where they have broadband....One livery is enough.Of course i don't expect you to do that just for me, but it would be nice all the same...

Not sure what the size will be but we are going to package it with just a couple of basic liveries and make all of the many others available as free downloads. That will create a significant reduction in the size. Still I'm sure it will be over 100. There are a lot of media files, sounds and bitmaps.Wade

It all sounds great, can't wait to download. If it's a huge file, oh well, just have to leave it downloading overnight, eh?

Here, here to the free livery downloads Wade!I like to have as many options open as possible.Roll on March ;)

Roll on March?????? Tony
