An error log is being created. PROGRAM DIES!!!Squawkbox works fine when run on the FS computer but WILL NOT allow me to connect when running on WideFS.I have made the modifications (WIDEFSVER=3), etc. that are listed. Nothing works. I can fly offline and FlightTracker DOES communicate with FS2002 without any problems at all. What can I do to get SB running on the client???Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm not sure it will help but as I had problems with Win2kPro and SB I'll try. Some questions first. Is this your first attempt with SB and 2 PCs or was that setup working OK but you have just upgraded to Win2kPro?Second, do you run a firewall and if so which one?Have you tried running FS2k2 on the PC that has the Internet connection? Why are you running SBHost? Can the 2 PCs talk to each other OK?I assume PC2 has an Internet connection?Rgds

Hi AriI'll just add something to Vulcan's post to cover one thing that drove me nuts when first trying to connect 2 PCs. When I was trying to connect SB to VATSIM, SB crashed. It turned out I didn't yet install a sound card on my SB comp and thus SB crashed trying to play sound on the non-existent card. If you don't have a sound card that is probably your issue. Try disable SB sounds on the SB welcome/splash screen (I think that's where it's located). That cured my SB crashes until I got a sound card installed.Hope it helps,
