I know you all break it up such as LAX_A_CTR, LAX_B_CTR, etc... During event CalScream5, I had no idea which CTR to call coming in from the northeast (SLC which was not manned). Thanks.Eric Eric
September 3, 200223 yr Eric, and everyone:As a guide for contacting CTR when not previously in contact with ATC, here is the sector plans for hi-altitude space for ZLA and ZOA:LAX_A_CTR 135.30 handles traffic from Socal to/from Bay Area and all the ZLA oceanic.LAX_B_CTR 127.10 is small U-shape the handles TTE, EHF vors and LAX to LAS.LAX_C_CTR 133.20 faces ZAB for BLH vor and above and handles LAS to LAX.LAX_D_CTR 135.25 faces ZLC/Salt Lake and handles LAS to/from ZOA.LAX_E_CTR 119.95 faces ZAB from BLH vor south and covers San Deigo area.OAK_A_CTR 128.70 faces LAX's "A" and handles Bay Area to/from Socal and handles Oakland's oceanic traffic.OAK_B_CTR 126.85 handles LAS and SLC to/from the Bay Area and Reno.OAK_C_CTR 128.80 faces ZSE Seattle ARTCC to/from Reno and the bay Area.Note - if we do not have enough people to totally split - some of these sectors may become combinded.Jim BartoshZOA ARTCC Chief
