Featured Replies

New to the Avsim web site If anybody is interested I have a Web Page of my Low Budget cockpitShe's not a Boeing 7## series but functions as an airplane on theleft side and functions as a fighter or stock car on the right side. This cockpit was an article at flightsim.comHow to fly the biggest desk in the office a few years agosince then its groan in complexity... I give you guys credit on the complex Boeing jobs...Ijust dont have the time or money to even compete butIm still having fun flying a junker...Pete Http:home.attbi.com~cockpitsimulator

Looks good peter. Have you thought about adding any Goflight modules to it. They would be very slick mounted into the panel.

PeterK well you broke my count I was almost 700 with no respones..Hi Hi lolOh theres plenty of room for more toys...I was given 20 inch monitorsbecause they had some burns in the screens whch ended up cuttingup the panels...the right side became the race car because it had to be done...when you get a steering columb and a car seat for nothingsome things have to be done..The overhead switches tap into the keyboard so i have basic Microsoft fs2002&98 functions...I have flaps next to the thottleand on the columb there are switches...whats great about fs2002 ican assign any of the overhead panel switches to function as anything in the cockpit.Just really havent had the time or desire to make the cockpit tocomplicated...besides fs2002 im running about a dozen more simstoo..thanks for looking pete

Over 700 hits. No question about it Pete, you've picked a thread topic near and dear to everyone's hearts. We all like the idea of low budget cockpits. 700 may be an all time high for this particular forum.Regards,Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com

PeterK Well Mike I sit at 700 to 2- meaning alot of people looked but few made any coments ....good...bad..or ugly! Its kind of hard to compete with the realistic Airbus or 777 jobs but after seeing the Ocean of Motion by Roland the other dayIv hit middle ground ...PS I love your cockpit,,time machine Roland..At 750 Mike we will be over the speed of sound...the scram jet willbe ignited and when we hit 1000 the Hydrogen / Lox motor willstart and next stop is earth orbit.......seeing to hold an orbit will be 17,500 Ill settle for 100 milesup at a high Mach number!http://home.attbi.com/~cockpitsimulatorPete

PeterKAt 741....we have a problem,,seems like the Ram air scoop Is forminga Shock wave around the intakes the vehicle will not hit 750...the air is to thick..Belive it was opened to early...trying to close now!need your help!Just looked down at the meter...768,,didnt even feel the vehicle bump..now picking up a 3g acceleration...the Scram jet is running.pete
