Bruce,Whatever Microsoft's problems in FS2002 - trust me, the software that is able to handle flying over the North Pole is elementary and as a matter of fact I have it programmed on my HP-28S programmable calculator. No wonder any real FMC can handle it with ease. The mathematical formulas were known for a long time so even in the days of "steam" gauges you could navigate over the North Pole albeit with much more human attention.Michael J.
