Brian,Some people make them, particularly the Falcon crowd as ejection seats are rather hard to come by. A few people have made commercial airliner style seats. Still others have opted for after-market sporty automotive seats. Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com

I found a site YEARS ago that had the plans to make VERY realistic airliner-type cockpit seats from plywood. It showed the plans, the materials, and full instructions on how to make the whole project. It showed how to pad them and make the cushions too. It looked cool. I'll see if I can find it again. That's been about five years ago or so, so I have no idea if it's still around or not. If I find it, I'll post the url.DonEDIT: I found it. Have a look:http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?$=main/howto/727seat.htm
