Panel Compatibility

Featured Replies

Here's a post to break the monopoly the new Dash-8 has over this forum. ;)Today I downloaded Bill Grabowski's ERJ-145 panel (I know, I'm a bit behind the times). It has to be the best panel I've ever seen! One problem though, I am trying to use it in conjunction with Mike Stone's ERJ-145, and certain problems come from this combination.1. The aircraft either pitches the nose viloently up during the takeoff roll, or turns to the left so the left wing scrapes the runway.2. While in the air, the nose continues up, with me having no control over the plane until I stall & fall to Earth.Does anyone have any fixes for these problems? Is this panel meant to be used with any other aircraft rather than the one that comes with it? Thanks!

When you download Bill Grabowski's panel it comes with Nick Botamer's (sorry, maybe I mis-spelled the name) ERJ-145 exterior model. Why would you want to use it with something else than what it was designed for ? But you need to download and install the FS2002 patch of course (the original Grabowski's panel was for FS2000). The plane flies very well. I flew it many, many times.Michael J.

Mike Stone's model gives me significantly better frame rates. If I must use the packaged model, I will. But if I can help it, I would like to use Mike Stone's. :)also, where do you get the patch?

All the patches, info and forum for this panel are on www.fsnordic.net but there have been some problems with this site in the last days.Michael J.

Mike Stone's ERJ can be used with the panel if you replace the .air file and aircraft.cfg file with the ones from Nick Botamer's fs2k2 updated ERJs. However, keep the contact and lights sections from Stone's cfg file because those are appropriate for his .mdlThe panel update was available at fsnordic.net, however, the site is currently down. A new update is almost ready which will include actual recorded cockpit sounds for the panel and a new aircraft sound file by Erick Cantu. Once that update is released, it should be available at this site.A heads up display appropriate for the ERJ is also available from AFG by Jon Gibbs.
