Cannot get the Dash 8 engines to fire up!

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have gone thru the startup process 6 times now.I get to click on the 'Select light' and the gauge goes to 19% but when I click above the right condition lever nothing happens the gauge just sits at 19%. When I say nothing happens I mean the engine does not fire up. The condition lever flips up for a second and returns to centre.SO Frustrating!!!Can anyone help me with this problem, as I would really like to get this super bird off the ground????regardsRichard

Richard, When it comes time to add fuel to the engine, I just do the Ctrl Shift & F4 on the keyboard to add the fuel. This might not be right but it works for me.Terry

Are you sure that you see the 'hand cursor' with the 'plus' sign? You need to click directly above the condition lever.

Make sure fuel the pumps are turned on. Not sure if it matters, but the hydraulics should also be on at this point, along with AC/DC/BAT and all generators.

Make sure your company has paid the FBO. Maybe they are putting water in your tanks!
