December 21, 200223 yr I'm impressed with two European Virtual Airlines that each use their own proprietary software that runs with FS2002 to log your flight for you so you can submit a PIREP much easier, and without cheating. Also you can take type rating tests, etc. It makes for a fair and challenging experience. Does anyone know of any American based VAs that do something like this?ThanksJeff
December 21, 200223 yr All of our VA's use ACARS. Hawaiian and Aloha VA's are American based.Erichttp://www.cpavirtual.org/images/flyingtigerbanner.jpghttp://www.cpavirtual.orghttp://www.flysva.orghttp://Thai.virtualATP.orghttp://JAL.virtualATP.orghttp://Malaysia.virtualATP.orghttp://Asiana.virtualATP.orghttp://Hawaiian.virtualATP.orghttp://Aloha.virtualATP.org Eric Thornton
December 21, 200223 yr you can try America West Virtual. we have our own ACARS system which you can request your flight release and itll record both the time from release of the parking brake, your off time, and your on time to the time you get to your gate. you also take a type rating test before begining at the VA so choose wisely on what airframe youd like to fly, one you choose it itll be awhile before you can change to another type just like the real airline.this VA has a whole dispatch center set up and everything, run by a real world dispatcher aswell and ofcourse people who work for the airline.try them out and you wont regret it. deffinitely one of the most realistically run VA's around.www.awva.netErnesto AlvarezAmerica West VirtualP195 - Airbus Pilot
