Is Air Jamaica Virtual still in business?

Featured Replies

Trying to contact any current or former members if the airline is now deceased.

Last I saw they shut down, that was 2-3 years ago. It's a shame since they were one of the better VA's around.

They didn't shutdown officially. They just stagnated.Otis just disappeared and the VA collapsed.

Indeed, I flew for them for a good bit..a very good VA, well-run I thought. Would be interesting if it could be restarted...an idea for someone to pick up?Matthew Murray,[bR]British Airways Maintainence Glasgow.

Hi Matthew,I was looking for any of the following former Air Jamaica Virtual Officers:Kamal ClarkeJason KingOtis MooreJP SandifordKeith LovellKenny MyersJon JosephClive MorrisDo you have/know any of the above email addresses? I am seeking permission to use an object of the former airline for use by fellow simmers. I will explain. Thanks,[email protected]

Hey, Sadly I don't have any of those contact details. I wish you well in you goal, sorry I couldn't help you. I t was a long-time ago I was a member...Matthew Murray,[bR]British Airways Maintainence Glasgow.

Does anyone have contact info for these people. I know a lot of them are real world pilots and some are even instructors. JP Sandiford was a member of Cathay Pacific Virtual for a while. They really shouldn't have let all that hard work go to waste, it really was something else.

No, I would like to contact them too. My heritage feels washed without air jamaica, anyone thinking about setting it up?

Is anyone still trying to get Air Jamaica up and running?

I was tempted to.. after touring much of the real world Carribean system last year. But I wouldn't really have the time to manage it. :( Anyone interested in managing a VA? ;)

I am. I have a few managerial skills as I once was a CEO

A friend recently wrote to Air Jamaica inquiring about permission to start an Air Jamaica VA... and they said no. Which is too bad since I have an almost complete automated VA website script written in PHP/MySQL that I would like to have used...complete with aircraft scheduling/flights assignments.Brandon
