December 1, 200421 yr I'm currently planning a webinterface for use in VA flying. It will be made for the sole purpose of bringing more realism in general VAing. Other than just picking a route and fly it, it's normally not much more you can do in a VA. But I'm planning for economics, limited resource of planes and so on.The name will be as simple as "Virtual Airline Manager"The design is more or less complete. The webwork will beguin soon.Later on, an addon will be built for FS to fix "cheating" From the webinterface, the pilot can select a route before the flight, and reserving the airplane for further use. The airplane will then be limited to start at the airport it was last brought to. So if a pilot wants to fly another route, he will have to fly to the other airport first via another VA route. The addon will prevent any cheating in Fuel usage, Weight cheating, and it will also add another funny feature... if you crash, the airplane is lost. You can sell it for only a few thousand dollars. That's right. In order to fly, you need airplanes. You need to buy them. Either used, or brand new. This does not mean that established and large VAs will have to start all over again if they were to join. Say a norwegian VA like Virtual Braathens (I'm a member :() They have too many pilots to start off with a cessna caravan... In those cases, I may allow a certain starting amount. And add as many planes as required following a formual I will make(Active pilots,Total pilots,# of flights) and so on..You will also, unfortunately have to set up your flights again if you are to join. This is because I will ofcourse create an entirely new database for the site. Unless you have data that matches with my mySQL interface, you have to start up.The beauty of this "game" is that you can actually "fight" other VAs. Economic wise that is. You fight for passengers and cash. If this thing is successful, I may add other features in the back of my head.If you have any tips, ideas or such, please post in this thread! :D

December 2, 200421 yr Just post them up. They may not be included in the first version, since this will more or less be very basic and used for testing. But on version 2 this may be added ;) We'll see. As said, just post them up and I'll take them into consideration
