July 12, 200322 yr Are there still copies of FS2004 available for shipping on the release date? (I assume that Tom does not have 500 copies on a pallet in his basement, but rather that you drop ship items?). :)Given the embargo on sales of FS2004 until the official release date, is that the date that Fs2004 would be shipped? Thanks, I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum :) .Bruce. July 13, 200322 yr Actually, there will be 500 or so Tin versions on Marty's basement floor when we receive our shipment. Marty and Janet will send those out as soon as we receive them, in the order in which customers placed their order, I assume, and they will not be dropped shipped. We have plenty of copies left and can always order more (not necessarily the "tinned" version, but certainly the normal box version). All of the orders coming in now will get the limited edition tin version until we run out... and then, presumably we'll go over to the standard boxed version. I don't know a thing about any embargo. I am pretty sure we'll start shipping them as soon as we receive them.
July 13, 200322 yr Author Hi Tom,Thanks for the reply. Maybe I use the wrong term "embargo", I referred to the ship/sales date that MS has released to coincide with a COF, and assumed that retail and mail-out stores (including AVSIM) were currently either stocked or about to be, and would need to await that magic date for retail/shipping. I've no doubt got it all wrong :)Thanks for the information, Tom.Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
